Courtyard Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile Hotel, Chicago

Staying at this hotel was quite a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and clean but lacked soundproofing near the elevator on the second highest floor, which could be bothersome. The service from Ana, Edith, and Domingo was attentive and pleasant, albeit with some concerns about cleanliness protocols. The location exceeded my expectations, being conveniently close to various amenities and establishments, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The dining experience was good overall, with a thoughtful gesture from the staff, but there were minor downsides. While a bit pricey, the hotel offers decent value for money.

The location is unbeatable, right near Chicago Magnificent Mile, steps away from Michigan Avenue shopping, and within walking distance of everything I wanted to explore. The service was top-notch, with wonderful lunches and desserts prepared, plus great recommendations for dining options. However, the dining experience was a bit pricey with a-la-carte options, and the last night's rate increase was unexpected.
